We'll move the desk.

renwd is a London delivery service for one piece of second-hand furniture at a time.

Why we started

In September 2026 we read hundreds of posts from Londoners trying to buy and sell second-hand furniture. The same story came up again and again: the furniture was cheap, sometimes free, and getting it home cost £60 to £140. When Zipcar closed at the end of 2025, the cheap hourly van went with it. Buyers stopped looking. Sellers couldn't give good furniture away.

We sampled 105 live London listings. About 6 in 10 sofas were priced at or below what a man and van charges to move them.

What we promise

  • The price you see is the price you pay.
  • You'll know the driver's name, and the seller gets a collection code.
  • We will never ask a seller for an "insurance" or "release" fee, the trick behind the common courier scam.
